Our Criw Cymraeg are a group of children from across the school who meet regularly to plan the school’s actions for the Siarter Iaith. We are now working to sustain and build on Welsh in the school after gaining the Gold Award.
They organise termly Welsh themed afternoons for the whole school and run weekly playground game sessions.
In addition to this they lead assembly on a Wednesday, where they read or act out stories in Welsh. They also choose the Welsh song to sing. In Friday’s assembly they give out certificates for the Seren yr wythnos in each class.
