School Inspection Reports

ESTYN is the education and training inspectorate for Wales.

Their vision is to improve the quality of education and training and outcomes for all learners in Wales.

Their mission is to support education and training providers to develop a self-improving and learning culture through advice, inspection and capacity building.

Following our Estyn inspection in September 2022, both the summary and full reports have now been published and are available to view using the links below.

The Estyn inspection reports are also available on the Estyn website.

Introducing the Criw

Our Criw Cymraeg are a group of 6 children who plan the school’s actions for the Siarter Iaith. We are now working towards our Gold Award. They meet regularly to plan what we will do next to meet each target.

They organise termly Welsh themed afternoons for the whole school and run weekly playground game sessions.

In addition to this they lead assembly on a Tuesday, and read or act out stories in Welsh. They also choose the Welsh song to sing. In Friday’s assembly they give out certificates for the Seren yr wythnos in each class.
